Crossout

Crossout, unpacked

Crossout takes the vehicle corner. You build the car from salvaged parts, drive it into an arena, and watch somebody blow a specific piece off it - which tells you exactly what to change before the next match.

That feedback loop is unusually direct. Most games tell you that you lost; this one tells you that your gun was mounted too high and your wheels were exposed. Within a week you stop copying builds and start designing them.

Matches are short, and losing still pays in scrap, so a bad evening still leaves you with material for a better build.

Why it earned a slot

  • Craft your vehicle
  • PvP arenas
  • Deep customisation

Who takes this corner

Builders and tinkerers. If you enjoyed loadout screens more than the shooting in other games, this is the one built for you.

If you want a balanced vehicle handed to you, the garage will feel like homework.

Opening moves

Build light. New players armour everything, lose mobility, and then die slowly instead of learning anything.

Keep the parts you do not like. The economy runs on scrap and the next build always wants the piece you just dismantled.
